My Take: Residual values are quite high for the 24 month leases this month. Unfortunately, the MF is a bit on the “high” side. There isn’t much of a MSRP/Invoice price window (about $1000, should be a bit more on a higher end model with options) so if you want big discounts, you will have to dip below invoice to get it. The 09 model leases for a bit more than the 08 model, so I would recommend getting the 08 at this point.

  1. You would think you were trying to lease a
    Mercedes instead of a Rogue. 6.6% interest rate is very high IMO. In this economic environment today anything above 3.5% or .001458 I would look for something else unless you absolutely can’t live without it. My vehicle I settled on in 2007 had a 1.5% interest rate.

  2. Haha. that’s true. 6.6% is a bit on the high end. But Nissan inflates their residual values, so in the end, I think it all boils down to be about the same. I do think this lease is actually on the expensive side, for the car you get. I leased my wife’s TSX in 07 for less than this and the car is over $5k more.
