My Take: Edmunds suggests a sale price of a few hundred under invoice on the Accord EX-L V6. There is $1000 dealer cash on this Accord, so I think you should get more than “just” a few hundred off invoice. If you manage that, you would be looking at $351 + tax on a 36-month/15k mile lease instead of $381 per month (assuming you pay all inception fees at signing).
The Pilot suffers from weak residual values, so you should consider buying it out at lease end (since you would have paid more than half of the car off already). If you don’t, its okay too. Honda has one of the best lease programs out there, so as long as you keep you miles within your contract and treat it well, you can return it without any penalties. There is $1500 dealer cash on the 4WD EX model, so be sure to factor that into your negotiations.
