09 BMW Z4 Lease Rates – July 2009

logo_bmwMy Take: I apologize to everyone for not keeping up with the posts and getting to the questions yesterday. I’m having huge issues with the web host right now. The site just crawls. I took me about 10 minutes to post the MB GL rates. I don’t mean writing it, I mean I waited nearly 10 minutes after clicking SUBMIT then it gave me an error. I really pissed because I paid 1 year in advance, but oh well, I’m not about to pay a second year at this point. Anyway, enough of my rant! The Z4 is doing fairly well this month in terms of leasing. The residual value, like most BMWs, is strong. While the money factor sits at around 3% APR and 3.48%. The lease interest rate is lower than the promotional purchase finance rate (3.9%), so it is safe to keep this car in the “potential leases” checklist if you are looking a roadster this summer.

Check out the new LIST for the recommended leases of the month.

  1. These seem like pretty decent numbers for the Z4. Had a chance to see the new Z4 sDrive35i today while at the BMW dealer for service on my MINI. All I can say is the coupe w/ retractable hardtop is a real nice piece of work–nice price tag too!! They had a “red tag” sale discounting it from $64K to $61K!

    • @warren. LOL. That’s not exactly a huge discount, but can’t fault them for trying. Then again, the car is pretty new, so $3k is somewhat significant. But for a car priced at $64k, a $3k discount is chump change. The new Z4 is way cool though, I love the retractable hardtop too!

  2. Unfortunately this one is out of my budget, but it was interesting to see this new thing in person. The discount was indeed chump change and certainly won’t tempt anyone, that’s for sure.

My BMW dealer just saaid that when I pay MSD to buy the rate down, they take the MSD off the Base rate, not the subvented rate…Is that right? have you ever heard that?

  4. C> I take it back… The salesman called me back and admitted that he made a mistake. The MSD are off the subvented rate…

I look smarter than him…all thanks to you.!!!
