2010 Cadillac CTS, SRX Lease Rates – March 2010

logo_caddyMy Take: GMAC is back into the leasing business and they are trying to make things interesting by providing some lease support on the more popular SRX and CTS models. I still think the residuals are bit low, but not that seems to be the case with a lot of manufacturers these days. The CTS does have a very low money factor, so it’s worth a look. The SRX isn’t all that bad either, but I would prefer it to be in the low .00100s or lower. Either way, its worth checking out if you are in the market for something like the X3 or the Q5. This could be a decent alternative.

  1. In a few months the lease will be up on my parents 2007 CTS. It looks like they will be considering other options that offer better fuel economy, including several domestic brands like the Ford Fusion and Taurus. I’ve been contacting my local dealers trying to get residuals and money factors, but thus far the internet sales managers haven’t been cooperating. Maybe they’re embarrassed by low residuals and high MF’s I’m not sure. Also, thinking maybe the new Buick Regal might be worth a look. G, if you have any better luck that I, can you post the results (or add to “do not lease” list if not worthy of leasing?)
    Thanks.

    • @warren. I will take a look at the buicks for may and see what they look like. I think Ford has stepped up a bit to help make leases more attractive. Now that my folks have gone back home, I should have more time for the blog. April’s been rough.
