2012 Audi Lease Rates – November 2011

No huge changes this month. Just the expect residual drop on some models and mf adjustments to keep payments hovering around the same ballpark. The one significant are of improvement is the $1500 in loyalty cash AND a leasing bonus of $750 for returning customers on the 2012 Audi A4. Correction: The $1500 is only available for purchase, while the $750 is available for leasing. As a result, the deal isn’t nearly as good as it could have been. Thanks to Ron for catching this.  These offers are good through January 4th, 2012 so you have roughly two months to figure to figure out what you want (Nov rates should remain the same through the end of the year). If you are loyal to your brand, you stand to save a substantial decent amount compared to folks such as myself (I am not loyal to any brand). Check out my sample calculation below for an example of what to expect on the Audi A4 Quattro Premium.

  1. I see on the Edmunds site (and others) where there is $1500 loyalty cash towards a purchase and $750 loyalty cash toward a lease but can’t find anything saying they can be combined.

Is there some where this is confirmed, also does it apply to any other models besides the A4?

Thanks for the information you provide on your site, it is really a great resource!

  2. @ron. I went back and reviewed the incentives and you are correct. It’s purchase only for the $1500 and $750 for lease. You can combine other incentives with either rebate, but the fact that one is for leasing and one is for purchasing makes them incompatible.

Loyalty cash is available on everything except the S4, S5 and R8. It ranges from $1000 to $2000 for the purchase loyalty rebate and half of the for the lease.

  3. Thanks for the clarification G. Too bad about the incentives though. I want to lease another Audi but they are not making it very appealing right now!

  4. You know, I haven’t seen a must have Audi lease all year long. I was considering the A3 earlier this year, but even then it was tough because there were better options out there. VW isn’t that much better either.

  5. @justin. I don’t have them, that’s why it’s not posted. However, you can look back to January (when I used to have the whole line up) and you will see a 4% drop in residual between the Premium and the Premium Plus. MF stays the same. That’d be my guess. This is of course, for the Quattro, not the FWD.

  6. G – Am I right that A6 prestige package residuals and MFs are different that for premium plus? Do you have those figures? Thx.

    • @J. Sorry. What’s posted is what I have. This site doesn’t take requests on lease rates because I don’t have access to everything. I pretty much post whatever my contact gives me or what I happen to come across.

  7. G – Is there a difference in residual between a manual S4 and an auto S4? On a 36 month / 12k lease, some dealers are quoting 56% and others 59%.

    • There shouldn’t be. Audi normally breaks their rates up by trim (Premium, Premium Plus, Prestige), engine type and driveline (2WD/4WD); not by transmission.
