2011-12 Nissan Lease Rates – December 2011

There’s been a slight drop in MF for the Maxima, Rogue and Murano. I also got 24-month lease rates for the Altima S sedan, which looks promising. I also got the numbers for the Pathfinder, which doesn’t horrible but I’m not certain it will be a great lease. The highlight this month is truly the Altima S. I have NEVER seen the Altima lease this well on a 24mo lease. As a matter of fact, I don’t recall any car leasing this well on a 24mo. PERIOD. There is also 0% financing for up to 60 month, making this both a good lease AND a good buy. Looks like we found this month’s Round-Up winner.

Here is a sample calculation based on TrueCar’s Southern California sale price and do not include local taxes. Please note that your dealer calculations may vary due to local fees/taxes.

  1. G, I have a dealer in my area, Queens, NY advertising the Altima sedan stock at $17,075 ($1,250 incentives) how much would the 24 month lease be? is the 65% residual based on 15k or 12k miles? Thanx for your help

  2. @miguel. The $1250 in incentives are for purchase only. The residual posted is for 15k. You can add 2% if you want 12k. My sample calculation is on the Altima S 24-months 15k miles per year. $176 per month before taxes. Inception fees extra. If you did a $0 drive-off, I would say it’s going to be around $250, maybe less.

  3. Do you have access to more detailed information on the LEAF lease rates? I’m interested in the LEAF SL model, 36 & 39 month leases, 12k miles. I’m wondering what the residual would be under those conditions, and if you know what the MF looks like on the other credit score tiers. Thanks for the help!

  4. @EK. Sorry, this is all I have. I generally do not get very detailed information such as credit tiers because if you don’t good credit, you shouldn’t be leasing. The APR on the LEAF is a tad on the “higher” side and it’s only saving grace is the ebate.

  5. just FYI, looks like Nissan’s residual value for 15k and 12k is only 1% difference, not 2% as any other brands. so if you opt for 12k instead of 15k, RV only goes up 1%.

  6. Hey G,
Thanks for all the great info. On edmunds.com they had a promo to get a $2,000.00 visa card if you buy or lease a new 2011 or 2012 maxima within 30 days of applying for the promo. So I am anxious to see the new mf and residuals for January. its after the fact, so all other rebates still apply– it did say you can’t be an employee or get fleet pricing and still get the card.
