2012 Honda Lease Rates – December 2011

It looks like lease rates remain unchanged from November, which means almost everything looks great. As you know, Honda has has very good leases throughout the year. Inventory has been spotty since the Tsunami and Thai floods, but things are picking back up. Another problem they have been facing is that their cars haven’t been as desirable lately, but I am confident they will right the ship. My personal favorite lease this month is still the Pilot, which is a great (if not the best) option for a 7-seat passenger vehicle. It doesn’t have the best interior (or exterior for that matter), but for what you are paying, I think it’s fair.

Here is a sample calculation based on TrueCar’s Southern California sale price and do not include local taxes. Please note that your dealer calculations may vary due to local fees/taxes.

  1. FWD. The EX-L Money factor sounds great, but was curious what type of hit the residual gets for the Touring.

  2. Pilot Touring: 51% / .00056 for 36mo/15k miles per year. Added 2% to 12k. 3% for 10k.
    Odyssey Touring: .55% / .00155 for 36mo/15k per year.

If you think you could possibly buy the car at lease end, opt for the Pilot.

  3. Ok great thanks! The 4% residual hit really does influence the numbers! I am deciding between this and the 2012 MDX Tech. Trying to weigh the creature comforts of the Acura vs the savings of the Pilot seems to be more difficult than originally expected…

  4. hey guys just want to give you guys the update for january. the civic is running a very good program.
