2012 Nissan Lease Rates – April 2012

Altimas are selling extremely well right now. 2013 model is just around the corner and inventory on the 2012s is quite abundant. Two weeks ago, I was shopping for an Altima for my sister. She ended up with a Subaru Legacy Premium, but the quotes I got for the Altima S were VERY competitive. Nissan dealers will not be undersold, therefore, you can cross-shop them to your heart’s content in order to get the lowest price. I personally like the 36-month lease better because it yields a lower monthly payment.

Here is a sample calculation based on TrueCar’s Southern California sale price and do not include local taxes. Please note that your dealer calculations may vary due to local fees/taxes.

2012 NISSAN ALTIMA SEDAN S CVT (36-month)
MSRP – $23,490
Sale Price – $20,590 ($1330 bonus lease cash)
Monthly – $245+ tax
RWG Rating – 93.8

  1. 2012 altima 2.5S with anniv pkg. $24K msrp

    2 yr lease
    15k miles
sign and drive…dealer made first pmt. all fees rolled in.

23 payments $239.00 all taxes inc in texas

oil changes throw in and 2tanks of gas exclusing the first initial on delivery.
    basically i stole the car.

    • good job Ryan! very good lease. These are the stories I love to hear from people. Good price plus freebies. Two thumbs up!

    • Just signed today (4/30-Los Angeles)

      2012 Altima 2.5S
      MSRP: 24K
      24 months lease, 12K miles a year

$795 drive off, $198 per month plus tax (23 payments)

Another stolen car I guess 🙂

  2. Here’s the deal I just did for my wife. It’s hard to top those aforementioned Altima deals…

2012 Sentra SR Special Edition (Special Edition $1300 pkg includes Moonroof, 5″ color Navi, XM with traffic, 16″ 7-spoke wheels, intelli key system, bluetooth, cargo net, USB connection…)

39 month lease, 15k miles a year (for a total of 48,750 miles)

    MSRP: $20,530
GROSS CAP: $18464.91 (includes $595 acquisition fee)
    Residual: 57%
    Money Factor: .00053
    Tax: 5.6%

$199.81/month, $391 at drive-off which included 1st payment and TTL.

    RWG Deal Rating: 0.95 (GREAT)

Nissan’s owner loyalty lease program looks very nice and I plan on getting into something before the 39 month lease expires. If I were to go 39 months and had to renew my plates, Wisconsin allows transfer of plates so that is no big deal.

NISSAN LEASE VS. HONDA LEASE PROGRAM

Nissan: Free Gap Coverage, $325 Disposition Fee, $500 free wear-and-use waiver for owner loyalty program

Honda: Free Gap Coverage, $0 Disposition Fee, $1500 Free Damage Waiver ($500 per incident)

I think Honda/Acura have one of the nicest lease programs, but if I do a pull-ahead with Nissan, I won’t ever see that disposition fee.

Second car I’ve leased and owe much to this free site. Thanks, G!

    • I agreed that Honda leases nicer (if not nicest), but like you said, you can easily avoid the disposition if you stick with the same dealer. I do worry about the availability of pull-ahead programs though. Its tough to predict when they become available and I haven’t seen them cover any more than 4 months. In any case, your wife’s Sentra looks great. Nissan and Honda really have the best leases around right now, ironically, most people come to my site to look at BMW leases, which aren’t always the best. LOL
