2013 Volkswagen Lease Rates – July 2013

Pretty much the typical residual/mf drop that is usually anticipated when lease rates change. There are a couple of exceptions though: Passat, Jetta, EOS, Touareg. These models got a MF increase. However, it is not all bad news if you plan on leasing one of those four models. Typically, when MFs go up, there’s usually some lease cash available to help keep payments around the same ballpark as the previous month. Take the Jetta for example, there’s “marketing” cash available on leases/retail purchases. The Passat has some lease cash too.

2013 Volkswagen Lease Rates – June 2013

Ugh, same as last month. There’s lease cash there and there, specially for the CC. Truth is, it’s probably a better time to BUY a VW than it is to lease one. 0.9% for 66 months on the GTI is nothing to shake a stick at.

Find any diamonds in the rough? Please share with the rest of us! I’m waiting to see if any one manages to lease a fully-loaded Routan with a RWG of over 100.00. Hehehe. Oh but wait! VW isn’t leasing Routans anymore! Rats!

Ewww!!! VW numbers not as good this month. Financing options look quite attractive though, but I’m thinking most of you didn’t came here for that.

2013 Volkswagen Lease Rates – April 2013

GTI and Touareg residuals dropped this month, the rest of the lineup looks the same as March. Surprisingly, the GTI and Touareg got a MF bump, so which I find a bit confusing because that pretty much makes it more expensive to lease than last month. My guess is that those two models are probably selling for less than before (in order to keep the payments around the same ballpark as before) because I am not seeing any lease cash according to Edmunds.

2013 Volkswagen Lease Rates – March 2013

UPDATE: VW has revised their lease rates. Please note the changes below.

VW rates updated for March. It’s dropped a little bit compared to last month. I anticipate numbers to remain the same through April, with updates rates rolling in May. As always, I will update numbers if things change.

2013 Volkswagen Lease Rates – February 2013

February lease rates have changed from January. Unusual, but not completely unexpected. VW usually has decent late Winter/early Spring deals, which is reflected in the low money factors of many of their models.

On an unrelated note. I am driving the last 100 miles on the wife’s Jetta and I have to say, I’m going to miss it. It’s been fairly reliable and the interior has withstood the test of time, unlike my Sonata (will talk more about that in the future). VW builds pretty solid cars and I am definitely not opposed to leasing or buying another one down the road.
