2010 Nissan GT-R Lease Rates – March 2010

logo_nissanMy Take: If you have ever wanted a GT-R (I know I have), this month is much more improved compared the last set of numbers I found back in November 2009. The residual values are 1% higher and the MF drops from 0.00315 to 0.00285. Don’t get me wrong, this is still a very pricey ride, but at least it isn’t as bad as late last year.

2010 Nissan GT-R Lease Rates – November 2009

logo_nissanMy Take: I personally would never lease one of these due to such a high money factor. If they were to ever bring it down by .00100 to .00200 points, I would definitely save up and consider it. But until then, I don’t think MSDs would even help bring down the interest on this ride. One can only dream, right?

09/10 Nissan GT-R Lease Rates – July 2009

logo_nissanMy Take: I shouldn’t really have to tell you what to do with these lease rates. You can get a new car loan at a lower interest rates than what you would get charged here on a GT-R lease. Smart people would pay cash; Desperate ones would probably sort for a lower interest loan; The rest should donate to the RIDE with G Fund. LOL.

09 Nissan GT-R Lease Rates – April 2009

logo_nissanMy Take: Yup, you guessed it! I’m just trying to amuse myself by doing some payment estimates on the Nissan GT-R. Don’t expect this car to go for invoice price since it’s a limited production vehicle. Another thing to note is that the 2010 GTR gets a $4000 bump in base price, so don’t expect things to get cheaper any time soon. Surprisingly enough, the residual is fairly strong. Unsurprisingly enough, the money factors stink. Gotta make money somehow, right?

At Invoice At MSRP
Make/Model Invoice MSRP 24-month 36-month 24-month 36-month
2009 Nissan GT-R $27,398 $29,920 $1223 $1143 $1427 $1284

NOTE: Estimates assuming the following conditions:

  • Inception fees (1st month payment, DMV, doc fee, bank fee, tire tax and possible security deposit) due at signing.
  • Local Taxes not included.
  • 24-month/15k and 36-month/15k terms.
  • All cars are stock, without any options.

November 2008 Lease Rate for 09 Nissan GT-R

My Take: Ever wonder how much it would cost you to lease a Nissan GT-R? Wonder no more! For my amusing lease of the day, I decided to pop in a few numbers into the calculator and see what we would be looking at. I did this back in August for the Audi R8 and these are the numbers I got:

24mo Payment: $2693 at invoice, $3098 at MSRP
36mo Payment: $2188 at invoice, $2467 at MSRP

Now for the GT-R:

24mo Payment: $1096 at invoice, $1308 at MSRP
36mo Payment: $1089 at invoice, $1236 at MSRP

Looks pretty good to me! The problem is, you can’t get a GT-R at invoice or at MSRP for that matter. TMV suggests $10,000 markup and I’m inclined to believe that its more like 20k. I can probably lease TWO GT-Rs for the price of one R8.
