November 2008 Lease Rate for 08 Porsche Cayman

My Take: Low residual and high money factors for the Porsche Cayman = bad lease deal. I haven’t seen a good deal on any Porsche this year and it doesn’t look like that’s going to change any time soon. The two year leases are a joke! Residual value is actually LOWER on the 24 month lease than the 36 month lease.

November 2008 Lease Rate for 08/09 Porsche Cayenne

My Take: I’m sure someone out there could make use of these Porsche Cayenne lease rates. Nothing to get too excited about here, the residual and money factor are less than perfect, so unless you have deep pockets, you may want to pass on this car.

August 2008 Lease Rates for 08 Cadillac CTS, Subaru WRX STi, GMC Acadia and Porsche Boxster

My Take: Here are some other “bleh” leases going on this month. We have a Caddy CTS (nice car, but I fear the reliability), WRX STi (AWD rice rocket, with wings), Acadia (happens to get as much MPG as my G37. Shocking, I know) and the Porsche Boxter (or Porkster as some would call it). I don’t think there’s much of demand for these cars right now, so if you want to see some numbers, just leave a comment and I’ll punch in some numbers. Better yet, you can use the lease calculator and punch in your own numbers and comment on your discoveries! Then I’ll comment on them! YEY, that would be nice! Haahaa.

My Take: I wouldn’t lease a Cayenne this month. Not only are the money factors unattractive (.00260 across the board), the residual is really low, making this a pretty expensive lease considering it’s price tag. A better option could be the X5, or better yet, the Escalade and the Land Rover seem to lease for significantly less. (OMG!!! I recommended a GM and Ford over a Porsche and BMW!!!!)
