09 Lexus RX350 Lease Rates for December 2008

My Take: RX350 is looks pretty good for a 08 model. The residual is still much higher than expected and the residual has dropped a bit (sitting at around 2% APR). Fairly competitive with financing deals going on right now. Leasing an SUV is not a bad idea if you consider the fact that the residual values are fixed for the duration of your lease. If gas prices go up, you don’t have to worry about your SUV losing its value because it you can just return it at the end of the lease! Isn’t that great? If gas prices stay low, then driving a SUV won’t hurt as much. Looks like a win-win situation to me. Another thing to note…even though the RX seems to be cheaper to lease than the RDX, the RDX has cash rebates (which will lower the price significantly) and it comes pretty well equipped as a base model. That’s not the case with the RX350. Of course, the RDX is a 4-cyl Turbo, while the RX350 is a V6. If you don’t like the raspy-ness of a 4cyl Turbo, then the RX is probably what you want.

October 2008 Lease Rate for 09 Lexus RX350 and Toyota Camry

My Take: Sorry folks, I haven’t had the time to make up payment estimates (life of getting in the way), so I will be posting the rest of the lease rates I have. I can say that the rates look pretty good here for the RX350 and the Camry. Residuals are fairly high and money factors are pretty low. This makes for a nice leasing combination. Stay tuned for more lease rates I’ve found. Will be posting them shortly.

My Take: The MF is not too bad, but it seems to be the Infiniti EX35 is a better deal right now. The RX350 has been one of the most popular crossovers (if not the most) for quite some time. It’s magnificently egg-shaped styling allows plenty of cargo space and luxury that is unparalleled. With that said, I don’t think I’d ever get one, not very fond of it the “egg-shaped” styling even though it’s functional.
