2013 Mercedes-Benz Lease Rates – March 2013

Oddly enough, MB decided to raise the residual and drop the money factors this month, effectively making February worse than January and March. That’s a slightly odd strategic approach, but who I am to question their thought process. Anyway, I’m really eager to see what the numbers on the CLA will look like once it comes out. If they don’t look too bad, I just might switch out my Sonata by year-end. I have been increasingly disappointed with my Hyundai over the last couple of months. Last Friday, after I parked my car, the dashboard kept flashing and beeping saying that I did not have my keys with me (they were in my pocket). I had to restart the car and shut it off again in order to turn off the headlights and lock my doors. The car has 20,000 miles and is less than two years old…go figure.

Numbers don’t look too good this month for MBs. Residual dropping but the MFs are going up. What the heck, right? Anyway, probably good time to hold out for better deals as Spring and Summer approach.

Doesn’t look like Mercedes made any lease rates changes this month. That’s good thing because numbers are typically worse after the Holiday season. Folks reported some hefty discounts on the C-Class during the holidays so if you are in the market for one, I would recommend looking into it while the numbers remain practically the same.

2013 Mercedes Benz Lease Rates – December 2012

From what I am seeing, most rates remained the same. The G550 drop in residual, but really, how many of you are in the market for that SUV? The numbers were good in October, they stayed the same in November and they still look good in December. Looks like MB is making that final push for the luxury sales crown.

Anyway, keep an eye on the incentives. The should be some good ones available for MBs.

Please share your leasing details with all readers. I think this will help everyone get a feel for what the market is for select models.

Last month’s numbers were VERY good. This month, MBFS brought down the MF on some of their cars yet again!!! That means payments should drop even further on cars such as the C-Class! If you have been waiting for a C-Class, go visit your local dealer for a test drive.

My friends, YOU ARE GOING TO LIKE THIS!!!! MBFS has kept the residuals steady and lowered the MF significantly. Now, this isn’t across the board. However, it’s done to enough models in the MBZ lineup that I feel is worth pointing out. Since I know many forks only care about the numbers, check out my calculation below…amazing!

If you live in the SF Bay Area, drop me a comment, I point you to the guy I was negotiating with last month. He seemed very willing to discount his cars.
