The Wall: Mrs B’s 2009 Infiniti G37 Sedan

Name: Mrs B
Location: Louisiana
What She’s Got: 2009 Moonlight White Infiniti G37 Journey Sedan. Premium Pkg. Sport Pkg. Trunk mat. splash guards.
What It Cost: You can’t get any more detailed than this…

39months, 15k miles
Residual: 54%
MF: .00146
MSRP: 39610.00
Sale Price: 36,521.50
rolled the $595 acquisition fee into the lease
Total amount leased: $37,116.50
Total due upfront includes first payment, license, title, $762.25
Monthly payment: $488.48
Usage tax each month: $41.74
Total payment including tax: $530.22

My Take:As expected, B detailed everything and got himself the best deal he could find within driving distance. I think the only thing I would have done differently is pay the acquisition fee upfront, but other than that, can’t go wrong with a pretty loaded G37 sedan for that price. Two thumbs up!

The Wall: Spicy Mikey’s Daughter’s 2009 Lexus IS250

Location: Florida
What He’s Got: 2009 Obsidian Black Lexus IS250 (for his daughter)
What It Cost: Loaded to the teeth. Navigation. Backup camera. Bluetooth phone. Heated & Ventilated Seats. Voice control for Nav, Radio, HVAC. HID Xenon headlights and fogs with Adaptive lighting. Wood grain interior trim. 18” sports wheels with low profile summer tires. Preferred Accessory Package (Trunk mat. Cargo Net. Wheel Locks. First Aid Kit). Dealer added accessories: XM and Rear spoiler (not pictured). MSRP $40141. Residual $19,252 (50%). Money Factor: 0.0004 (0.96%). Due at signing: $1500 (includes 1st payment, starts, and neg. price for non-residualized accessories). Gross Cap Cost: $35,751 + $700 Acquisition Fee = $36,451. Monthly Payment: $517.99.

My Take:Wow, talk about fatherly love! That just raises the bar on the parental gifts department. So is this like a graduation present or something? I hope my future kids don’t ever see this post or they might start expecting things. LOL. The MF is nice and low, residual is still relatively reasonable. Very good sale price. Too bad about the dealer addons, but at least the spoiler was free! Overall, pretty solid deal. Good job Mike! Definitely a great improvement from the previous quotes you mentioned.

The Wall: Jake M’s Mom’s 2010 Toyota Camry LE

Name: Jake M.
Location: Massachusetts
What He’s Got: 2010 Silver Toyota Camry LE (It’s for the mom)
What It Cost: msrp $22850 with (delivery) payment $250 36/12k lease only $250 out of pocket all other fees rolled in, sell price was invoice $$$??? and a few hundred out of their hold back to make the payment what it is.

My Take:Love the super low payment. I know there isn’t a lot of info available, but 1st payment and $250 month is pretty good. For the sake of this post, I’m going to guestimate the payments here.
MSRP 22850, sale 22690 (around invoice), 57% residual, 15k miles, 36-months, 6.25% sales tax, money factor of 0.00078. With inceptions due at signing, we’re looking at around $254. You made out better than that since your inception was just the 1st month payment. I think my calculation’s margin of error might be around 1%-2% or $6-$12 per month. Regardless, good job Jake! I’m sure Mom is very proud!

The Wall: SpartanGA’s 2007 BMW 550i Sport

Name: SpartanGA
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
What He’s Got: 2007 White 550i Sport, 35,000 miles.
What It Cost: $70,000 retail sticker, one owner car. Loaded with Nav, Sport, Comfort access, Cold weather. Perfect condition. Purchased in Feb 2009 as a Certified car for $35,000. Put 10% down, financed 60 months at 4.9% thru a local CU. $640/month to OWN. New warranty until 2/2011 or 50k miles. Free maintenance until 50k miles. (or 2/2011, but I wont get there) CPO warranty goes to 100k miles or 2/2013. Replaced a lease on a 528i…it was a $52k car and leased for $600/month.

My Take:I couldn’t have done better myself. Really, I couldn’t. Haahaa. Here is proof that you should NEVER buyout a BMW 5-series at lease-end since I doubt you can pull off that kind of deal on a 3-yr old 550i once the lease ends. Pretty awesome deal there SpartanGA! I like it! Sometimes, buying CPO just makes more sense, specially if you can live with your car for more than 36 to 48 months.

The Wall: Allan P’s Honda Accord EX-L V6 Sedan

Name: Allan P.
Location: Miami Beach, Florida
What He’s Got: 2009 Honda Accord 4 door, EX-L Six cylinder, Polished Gun Metal/Gray Leather Interior.
What It Cost: 36 months, 12,000 miles per year, total cash out of pocket $ 595.00 includes 1st month plus other fees, total payment including 7% sales tax $ 343.00/month.

My Take: $595 at drive-off?? NICE! Top of the line Accord EX-L V6 is nearly $30k MSRP! For those looking at the Acura TSX. I think this deal seems to be better. Less money upfront, more or less the same amount per month. Plus you get a V6 too boot! Well done Allan!

UPDATE: Got the pics from Allan today and I have to say, this car looks pretty sweet in polished gun metal. I always liked the dark great look. Sweet ride Allan.

The Wall : Getpaid’s 2009 Mercedes CLK350

Name: Getpaid
Location: California
What He’s Got: Everything but wood grain and Navi.
What It Cost: 2 payments left on my old lease and about 5,000 miles over my allotted 10,000 per year ($1250). Paid $3000 after everything at drive off (that includes my first month’s payment) and am paying $455 a month for 39 months at 10,000 miles a year. I believe sticker was $52950 but i’m not positive as to what it came out to when all was said and done.

My Take:PHAT RIDE! Love it! Mercs do look best in black so you definitely didn’t go wrong there. The deal in my opinion was very good considering the following… 1) You were over your miles and had a couple payments left. 2) Of the $3000 up front that you paid, more than HALF was going towards inception, meaning your cap reduction was probably no more than $1k. At $455, that’s about the same as what some folks are paying for 2.0T A4s and 328i…but you got a CLK350 at a MSRP of $52k. Congrats! Great ride, great deal. Thank you VERY MUCH for sharing. Wow, the first Merc on the Wall!
