2012-13 Acura Lease Rates – October 2012

Pretty much the same for most models. Saw the car in person at the OC Auto Show and came away impressed in terms of what the car offered. I think the mainstream buyer probably wouldn’t suspect that this car was based off the Civic. I do have my concerns about the drivetrain though. I haven’t driven it, but I fear it may be a bit gutless in terms of performance. The good news is that lease looks pretty cheap (see below)

  1. ’13 RDX Base: let’s see no fog lights, no HID’s, no TPMS pressure. Acura base models are suppose to come with everything except basicly NAV as an option. Why are they steering away from that on this 1 model out of the whole entire lineup??? I want to get an RDX base but don’t want pay $4 grand for the tech package and don’t wanna pay $36k for a vehicle that doesn’t have the same features as a Base TSX basicly. That is pathetic!

    • I have to agree with you on this. The base RDX doesn’t impress me one bit. I was also expecting a better standard package. What makes it worse is the residual hit when you opt for a Tech trim. Not only are you paying $4k more, you are getting hit with a 3% reduction in residual. Sucks.

  2. You mind posting Nov Acura numbers? they should be out first week of the month and its already the 17th…

    • He’s posted a few times that his source was hit by Sandy, so we shouldn’t expect any numbers this month. Just FYI.

    • Like Adam mentioned, I am thinking this month’s lease rates won’t happen. They’ve been so busy getting things running and helping those affect by the storm, I think getting lease rates to me is probably the last thing on their minds. I know this throws a wrench in a lot of folks plans, but I hope everyone stays patient during tough times.
