08 Infiniti EX Lease Rate – March 2009

logo_infinitiMy Take: Looks like Infiniti fudged with the EX numbers this month. Last month, an EX35 Journey AWD’s residual value was 49%. This month, the residual value for the same exact car goes up to 51%. That’s typically a good thing, however, the money factor went up along with it, which basically cancels each other out. The good news is that there is 0.9% financing for 72 months or 0% for 36 months. Unfortunately, the $5000 dealer cash cannot be combined with this deal, but it should be at least partially available for leases. The $500 sell down dealer cash should be available for both leases and purchases.

  1. “the $5000 dealer cash … should be at least partially available for leases”

How much do you think would be available for leases?

Do you have the April numbers?

  2. The cash availability for leases will probably vary depending on your market. A good strategy is to take that into consideration during the negotiation without telling the dealer “hey, i want the full $5000 dealer cash”. Shoot for invoice and knock off a few grand on top of that, the dealer will have to dip into the dealer cash if he/she wants to make the sale.

I haven’t seen the april numbers yet, but i’ll post them when i do.
