2013 Lexus Lease Rates – February 2013

Lexus numbers remain unchanged from January. Not too crazy about the MFs, but the residuals are pretty good. College grads and Military get $1000 and $750 in cash respectively for select models.

2013 Lexus Lease Rates – January 2013

Lexus numbers are back again. Somehow they were lost in the shuffle over the last couple months, but here they are. RX models have a notably “lower” MF than the other Lexus models, which is good news. The residuals are also high, so all you really need to worry about is negotiating a lower sale price. There are also some rebates available to military, college grads and general customers looking to lease a Lexus. Check it out!

Those of you shopping for an IS, this is going to your last year to get into the current generation model. News out of the Detroit Auto Show suggests that the 2014 model will be completely redesign. Keep an eye out in the coming months as Lexus will try to clearance any remaining 2013 IS models before the 2014 IS rolls into town.

2012-13 Lexus Lease Rates – September 2012

Wow, it almost looks like Lexus bumped up the MF on a bunch of their cars this month. The Residual remained the same though. There is marketing cash available, so I believe that’s how LFS is offsetting the higher MF. Still, I’d rather have a lower MF personally. The good news is the not all cars got the bump. Some stayed the same and others dropped. With this in mind, I anticipate Nov/Dec to be significantly better than Sept/Oct.

2012-13 Lexus Lease Rates – August 2012

Looks like residuals remain the same, but MFs have dropped. That’s good news for those of you who waited. Lexus also has 0.9% financing for 60 months on select models.
July incentives are still in effect, which means Lexus will pick up the 1st month payment on your IS, ES, CT or RX. Good times.

2012-13 Lexus Lease Rates – July 2012

Lexus lease rates changed mid-month, so here are the updated numbers. Notable changes are the drop in residual value and the subsequent drop in the money factor to keep payments within last month’s ballpark. Conquest, Military, Graduate and First Month payment incentives are also in effect for most models. Unfortunately, I didn’t see loyalty cash, but I would recommend asking about it anyway. Please check Edmund’s incentive page for more details. You can find the links above this post or on the right sidebar.

2012-13 Lexus Lease Rates – June 2012

No notable changes from May except that the 2013 RX numbers are out. According to TrueCar actual sales data, a lot of people paid around MSRP for their IS250 (in my area). Apparently, they weren’t reading my blog. Haahaa. Last month’s incentives seem to have carried over for the IS250, that means Lexus is still paying for your first payment, up to $700. There is also a 27-month lease being promoted, but I don’t have details on that.

Below, you will find a sample calculation for the IS250. My assumption is that you are leasing the car at invoice + $1000 loyalty + the full $700 first month payment credit. If your dealer won’t give you the full $700 as cap deduction, then expect the payments to go up a little. Of course, you can always offset that by asking for a below invoice sale price + incentives.

2012-13 Lexus Lease Rates – May 2012

LFS adjusted residuals and MF randomly this month. Residual either stayed the same or dropped by 1%. MFs, on the other hand, went up and down or stayed the same. Doesn’t make too much sense if you ask me.

Lexus is currently making the first payment for customers who lease a new 2012 RX 350, IS 250 Sedan, IS 350 Sedan, or ES 350 (capped at $700). You also get $1000 in loyalty/college/military cash that you can apply towards your lease or drive-off.

The lease on the IS250 this month seem slightly higher than last. Lexus also bumped the MSRP of the IS by $200. Overall, this is still an attractive lease so it isn’t a bad time to get into the IS.

2012-13 Lexus Lease Rates – April 2012

Lexus adjusted their lease rates this month. Residual drops and MF adjustments. CT200h got a significant bump in MF, which really kills the car as a lease. 2013 GS350 AWD has a really great residual value right now. MF is a tad high, but workable if you can get a nice sale price. Now I’m not saying it’s going to be a great deal, but I do think it has potential. The IS line looks pretty good as well. TrueCar suggests about $600 over invoice, but I think it’s fair to target invoice + incentives. See my sample calculation below to get an idea as to what you should expect on the IS250.
